Our Story

Why This Space Was Created

At Soulroots Therapy, this work grew from our own journey especially the tender, challenging, and unfiltered reality of supporting children with ASD. As parents, we came to understand something profound:

“You can know all the strategies in the world but until your nervous system is calm, your body feels safe, and your emotional patterns are understood, nothing truly changes.”

Our lived experience showed us that you can’t change what you don’t feel, and you can’t support others when you’re surviving in a state of depletion.

That deep knowing became the heart of this support not theory, not tools for their own sake, but embodied transformation grounded in real life.

Here’s why this matters

The body holds what we don’t have time to process.

When you’re focused on others, your own pain, stress, or fatigue often gets buried.

Over time, this creates emotional blocks and physical tension. Our first sessions focus on building a felt sense of safety and capacity within your body, so it feels safe enough to begin letting go.
